Administrative Secretary, Principal’s Office-The Administrative Assistant is often the public face of a school and is expected to be an excellent ambassador in addition to performing ongoing job responsibilities. These responsibilities typically include maintaining student records and posting student attendance;  creating and inputting data into a variety of software programs; maintaining the student activities account to include the receipt of cash, cash disbursements, and monthly reconciliations;  word processing and forms;  providing first aid medical care to students;  assisting the Principal and staff as necessary.  Must have specific training or education in secretarial science, including the operation of office equipment.  Successful candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, the ability to multi-task, an extreme attention to detail, a high level of computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheets, and data input.  Excellent customer service skills are a necessity. Previous office experience, to include bookkeeping, required.  Associates Degree preferred, High School Graduate or GED Required.  Full-time, school year position with some summer days.   Position begins mid-June.  Pay based upon experience, with benefits.  Application deadline is May 24, 2012.

Applicants must have a Masters degree in education, must hold proper Maine Assistant Principal certification (#045) or higher and  Athletic Director certification (#215).   Must have successful experience as a secondary teacher, have knowledge of secondary education to include the oversight of athletic and co-curricular activities programs, Special Education, student discipline, and attendance. Outstanding leadership skills required, instructional leadership a plus.  The successful candidate will work in partnership with students, teachers, administration, parents, and the community.  Comprehensive pay and benefits based upon experience.  Position starts July 1, 2012.
F/T Special Education Teacher, Resource Room, MDOE Endorsement #282 Teacher - Disabled Students.  Previous experience with a range of exceptionalities, strong knowledge of IEP process. Position begins immediately.  02/28/12

Substitute Teachers-Sub teachers needed for all locations throughout the RSU, with a greater need at the secondary level.  Sub Teacher Daily rate is $70 with two years post-secondary education, $65 without.  MDOE Fingerprinting is required.
